At Goolwa Uniting Church we gather in missional communities.

At present we have two missional communities and plan to plant many more.

“NEW LIFE” (Sundays 9:30am)
“New Life” is our contemporary family oriented missional community that gathers on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. Our worship is vibrant and our teaching contemporary and bible-based. During this gathering our children from Kindergarten to Year 6 at school are able to participate in their own program called “Kids Life”. Our worship gatherings conclude with a cafe in our Activity Centre each week. We encourage all in our New Life community to belong to Life Groups that meet during the week to do life, learn, serve and grow together. Our high school aged community members also meet on Friday nights during school terms at the Life Centre for fun, growth and life!

“RIVER OF LIFE” (Fridays 10:30am)
“River of Life” is our traditional missional community that gathers on Friday mornings at 10:30am. Our worship is traditional, reflective and hymn-based and our teaching is bible-based and contemporary. People of all ages are welcome to participate in this faithful missional community. Each week the River of Life gathering is followed by morning tea and on the first Friday of each month the community enjoys a shared luncheon.

“THE OPEN DOOR” (Weekdays 10am – 4pm)
The Open Door Centre is our community hub and serves as our church office and community wellbeing centre. The centre is used by a variety of Community and Health Service providers whom we see as Community Partners helping to offer a range of helpful services. Services currently being offered from the Open Door Centre include nursing support, counselling and community care.

The Goolwa Uniting Church also offers a growing number of development and recovery programs through the Open Door to help people overcome challenges to really knowing and experiencing LIFE!
